Stage 1 - Design
During this first stage of the project we work with you to deliver a design for your ecommerce website that is designed to suit your businesses needs, increase sales, increase the users experience and increase the search engine optimisation.
The design is separated into main 4 areas
- Homepage Design
- Brochure Design
- Section Design
- Product Design
By separating the design as above, it enables teclan to design the key areas of the site before moving onto stage 2 of the project.
The reason behind creating a visual representation of the website is to enable you, the client to make any changes that are required during this stage rather than these changes being made further down the line and being more difficult to make

Stage 2 - Creation of Layouts
Once the design has been 'signed off' by you, the client we are able to move onto stage 2 of the project. During this stage we create the layouts that are required based on the agreed design in the Actinic Software and create the functionality to make the site work as per the design.
Once we have completed this we upload this to one of our secure test areas to enable you, the client to view/amend/approve the work

Stage 3 - Integration
Once the previous stage 2 has been 'signed off' by you, the client we move onto the Integration stage of the project. This is where we merge the previously created layouts with your site's snapshot
This stage of the project is when most clients feel the most amount of excitement about their new website, as it is the stage that you can see your newly designed website with your products/content.
This stage also includes any content specific functionality, as well as any snapshot upgrades to the most recent version of Actinic

Stage 4 - Ecommerce Functionality & Testing
During this stage of the project we carry out extensive ecommerce functionality and testing on the new website. This ensures that once the project is completed you will receive the most robust ecommerce website possible.
There are many different aspects to our testing processes such as,

- Speed Reports
- Extreme Layout Testing
- Search Engine Optimisation Checking

Stage 5 - Aftercare
Unlike other website designers we do not leave you in the lurch once your project has been completed.
At teclan we have our unique aftercare package, which give you the support that you need after the project has completed
With our Aftercare package you will receive
- A detailed handover document - This document details all the layouts, variable, snapshot instructions, image specifications, how to use certain aspects of the site etc
- 60 Day Project Support - This enables you, the client to call, email any queries/questions you may have about the work that we have done
- 1 hour Project Consultation - Once the project has been signed off, we will schedule the project consultation with you. This enables you once you have received the final snapshot to ask any questions that you many have, go over details in the handover document or anything else that you want answered that is related to the project
