Job Description:

As an Assistant Support Technician at teclan, you will play a crucial role in handling customer queries related to hosting, email, and general technical support. Your responsibilities will include providing outstanding customer service and maintaining and upgrading systems, software, client websites, web-based applications, and infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be exposed to various aspects of web app development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer queries related to hosting, email, and general technical support.
  • Maintain and upgrade systems, software, client websites, web-based applications, and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide excellent customer service.
  • Learn and experiment with web app development intricacies.
  • Be the first point of contact for our inbound calls.


  • Experience in a customer-facing role providing excellent customer support.
  • Knowledge and experience of Linux systems and the Linux command line.
  • Experience in network systems and server architecture.
  • Desirable: Experience in development using PHP and WordPress.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Candidates must be able to work in our office at Tore for their probation period to spend time getting to know teclan and the team.
