The rise of conversational queries

Mobile-GraphicSomething that will have an impact on Internet search this year is the mobile-search and the rise of personal assistants like Siri and Cortana. As more and more people are using mobile phones for their searches, and using these assistants, conversational queries will also become more important.

Conversational queries are the types of questions a person may ask Siri for example, when they are looking for certain types of products. Product descriptions and Blogs are a great way to incorporate these along with Social Media. With Google confirming deals with Facebook and other social platforms, Social Media will become an even more powerful tool.

Google is looking for explicit (keyword oriented) and implicit signals (keywords/questions a searcher may not type but would expect Search Engines to know) to show results to their users. What it means is through your content you will need to answer the queries your user may have about the products which they are looking for.
