Trade radiators is a UK-based online retailer of radiators, heated towel rails and thermostatic radiator valves, providing services for over 10 years.
Problem
With a high traffic website and an ever-growing customer base, the company had outgrown what could be provided by the open-source community edition of Magento 2 on a single dedicated server. A new solution had to be found to allow the site to grow further and be able to scale further much into the future.
Solution
teclan evaluated various architecture that would allow the website to accommodate greater traffic levels without impacting on performance and also scale with future growth. We would then manage the project to move the website to this new solution.
Outcome
Trade radiators were upgraded from Magento 2 Community Edition to Magento Adobe Enterprise Cloud Edition sitting on top of a clustered server architecture that accommodates current and future traffic levels.
