Aero Ecommerce October Update: Core Fixes, Admin Improvements & New Features
We’re excited to share the latest improvements to Aero, your Laravel-powered ecommerce platform. This month’s update focuses on refining both the Core and Admin experiences, with a mix of bug fixes, usability enhancements, and new features to help streamline your workflow.

Core Fixes & Enhancements
[Fixed] Date Range Input Bug
Projects not using UTC timezone were seeing incorrect dates in the date range setting input. This has now been resolved for accurate date handling across all timezones.[Fixed] Fulfillment Items Table Typo
A small but important fix: the typo in the weight field has been corrected for clarity and consistency.[Fixed] Weight Unit Fallback
If no weight unit is specified, Aero now defaults to grams, ensuring smoother fulfillment calculations.[Fixed] Return Calculator Logic
The return calculator was incorrectly using the exchanged item’s price when the order only had one item. This has been corrected to reflect the proper pricing logic.
Admin Improvements
[Updated] Exchanged Item Pricing Behavior
Exchanged items now use the new item’s price by default. If you prefer the old behavior, you can revert it using theset_exchanged_item_price_to_old_item_pricesetting.[Updated] Customer Redirect Flow
When creating or editing a customer, you’ll now be redirected to the customer edit page instead of the index page—making it easier to continue managing customer details without extra clicks.
New Features
[Added] Admin Name Resolver to Activity Logs
Activities in the admin panel now include a name resolver, making it easier to track who did what.[Added] Variant Name in Fetch Route
The variants fetch route now includes the name field, improving API responses and frontend integration.
